Easily folds up for your pocket or equipment bag. Solid colored paracords tend to be a bit softer on the hand then the multi colors. I have found that a combination of solid and multi gives a nice middle ground to the feel.

This works as both a snap bolt to the collar and as a slip lead. Floating Solid Brass "O" ring allows the loop to fit to most head/neck sizes.
